Membership
Coordinates efforts to recruit and retain members. Works closely with the Treasurer as new and current members fulfill financial obligations to the chapter. Each quarter, the chair updates and distributes a membership list to all financial members.

Scholarship
The Seattle Foundation/Patricia Fisher Endowed Scholarship program is open to African-American students with a serious career interest in print, photo or broadcast journalism. Awards will be made based on scholastic achievement, financial need, and commitment to journalism and to minorities.  Committee members are needed to help publicize the scholarship as well as distribute and judge applications.

Events and Fundraising
This committee is charged with seeking out and executing opportunities which promote visibility, networking, mentoring and fundraising.
